Work At Home, Youngstown, OH

On a mild evening in September last year I was enjoying a drink at a bar in Youngstown, Ohio. That’s where I met Father Laurence Dunstan in the men’s toilet. He has published an all-inclusive testimony about home based employment in America and the repercussions thereof. I was exceptionally thrilled to meet him, having worked from home for the previous two years. I was hoping to extract some information about computer work, especially data entry jobs and the propagation of online surveys.

“Have you confused me with someone else?” he garbled, “I know nothing about computers or working at home. I simply came here this evening to get drunk. Leave me alone immediately. I was made redundant from my job eighteen months ago and I haven’t had a job ever since. All you’ve managed to do is bring up lots of agonizing memories of a period in my life I’d rather pretend didn’t happen. I have never wanted to be my own boss and the thought of starting my own business makes me ill. I’m only visiting Youngstown, I don’t live here.”

His aloofness didn’t trick me. In his published testimony he mentions the necessity for confidentiality and ambiguity in order to succeed in business. He supports the use of clandestine methods to obtain the preferred result. He truthfully feels that individuals who choose to work at home will one day become heir to the planet and all its resources. Youngstown, Ohio is probably not the most contemporary city in the USA, but it sure knows a thing or two about home based employment opportunities.
