Typing Jobs

Work At Home, OH

Conventional typing jobs are fast becoming a relic from yesteryear in Ohio, like wooden pegs and rubber baby buggy bumpers. Eddie Schumaker received an Olivetti typewriter for Christmas in 1979. His relatives thought it was a bizarre present for a boy to get but he always maintained his heterosexuality. He had a few office administration jobs after his hernia operation and entered many neighborhood typewriting competitions until he finally decided to work at home permanently.

“I’d just like to say one thing,” smiled Eddie, “I am not a homosexual! I just love typing. My mother was the state champion, so when it came to keeping the beat on the typewriter keys she would always captivate me with the exciting actions of her fingers. When I decided to work at home she got very angry. What a scary night! I would not relent. I just reminded her that she wasn’t the boss of me anymore. I love mom more than life itself but sometimes you have to stand up and fight for your rights!”

Eddie showed us around his Ohio house and was proud to show us his display of awards won at lots of different contests for typists. He claims to have worked in many varied office situations, completing typing jobs that no one else was bold enough to do. He has kept the Olivetti typewriter in his home office between his room and his mother’s. It’s brilliant to hear about somebody successfully working from home and it doesn’t matter if he’s gay or not, because he motivates everybody he touches.
